My hotel Ramada Seoul Dongdaenum is located just 2 minutes walk from Acacia hotel
(where the airport bus stopped). This hotel unfortunately does not have individual heating or cooling system in the room. It is centrally controlled. Every time I feel that the room is too hot or cold, I have to call reception and they have to adjust my room temperature for me. It got to the point that I have to sleep with the windows open and being woken up each morning from the noise in the street.
At the junction of Acacia hotel and the main road, turn left, you will get to the Chungbu market ( sometimes known as Jungbu) that sells fresh produce. You will also find many wholesale shops such as book shops or household goods.
If you turn right, you will get to the shopping malls such as Good Morning City, Hello Apm, Migliore, Dotta shopping mall, Pyunghwa fashion clothes market and Dongdaenum shopping complex and many small stalls selling all sorts of goods.
In the evening you might be lucky to be entertain by teeny boppers (guys and girls) dancing and singing on stage outside the shopping malls.
There are many food stores around that area of shopping and many food courts inside the shopping mall so you won’t go hungry.
