I visited the national museum of Korea today. I stayed at Dongdaemun area, near subway line 4. I use T-money card as it is the most convenient way to use the subway, instead of purchasing subway ticket. One can always take the Jungang line to Ichon Station and find the museum in the underground /underpass or exit No 2. If you prefer to take the bus, use the blue bus #502 or #405B and stop at bus stop at the National Museum of Korea.

I personally did not find this tour interesting as compared to the tour at the war memorial. However, I think it could be different if it had been another tour guide.

  1. Hi there, here is more tip for you. I hope going to ‘The National Museum’ was good experience. Sometimes, they have an event and special free exhibition so I recommend you to check the schedules if you want to visit there again. Here is a direction you can go to the museum. if you take a train, you have to go to ‘Ichon station'(line 4). Also in ICN, you can purchase some good and reasonable transportation packages. There are ‘express train and T-money card’ , ‘express train and international taxi’ and ‘express train and EG sim card’. With express train, you can go to Seoul station with convenient reserved seat and this is the fastest way to go to Seoul. And you can choose other three options what you need. If you are interested in these, please visit to travel center(located in B1). Thank you.
